If you’re the mom of a high school senior boy, there’s a good chance you’ve heard some version of that question already.

Maybe your son isn’t excited about having his picture taken. Maybe he says he doesn’t know how to pose. Maybe he’d rather be playing sports, working on his truck, hanging out with friends, or doing just about anything other than standing in front of a camera.
And honestly? We get it.
We’re guy moms too.
After photographing more than 6,500 sessions over the last 26 years, we’ve learned something important: senior guys don’t need a complicated experience. They need a photographer who understands them.
At Marci & Christy Photography, we’ve created a senior picture experience that feels easy, relaxed, and natural for guys while taking the stress completely off Mom’s shoulders.

The biggest fear most senior guys have is looking awkward.
They’re worried about what to do with their hands. They’re worried about smiling. They’re worried about feeling uncomfortable or looking forced in their photos.
The good news? That’s our job, not theirs.
We guide every pose, every movement, and every expression throughout the session. Your son never has to figure it out on his own. We keep things moving, keep the atmosphere relaxed, and make adjustments as we go so the final images look natural and confident.
By the end of the session, most guys tell us it was much easier than they expected.
Some even admit they had fun.

No two senior guys are exactly alike, and their senior pictures shouldn’t be either.
Whether your son is an athlete, musician, outdoorsman, car enthusiast, future engineer, fashion-forward trendsetter, or simply wants something clean and classic, we’ll customize the session to reflect who he is right now.
We photograph senior guys throughout Indianapolis and Central Indiana, including downtown Indianapolis, urban alleyways, parks, sports fields, and unique local locations.
We also offer our private MAC Studio Backlot near Mooresville, featuring multiple custom-built sets and backgrounds that allow us to create a variety of looks without driving all over town.

Let’s be honest. Most moms aren’t worried about the actual photography.
They’re worried about everything leading up to it.
What should he wear?
How many outfits should he bring?
Where should the session take place?
Will he cooperate?
Will the photos actually look like him?
You don’t have to figure any of that out alone.
We’ll help you choose locations, coordinate outfits, plan the session, and answer every question along the way. Our goal is to make the entire process simple from the very first phone call until your finished portraits are hanging on your walls.

Senior year has a way of moving fast.
One minute you’re driving him to elementary school. The next, you’re touring colleges, talking about careers, and wondering how graduation got here so quickly.
These portraits become more valuable with every passing year.
They’re the images you’ll display at graduation parties, share with family members, include in announcements, and eventually look back on long after senior year is over.
Most importantly, they capture your son exactly as he is right now, standing on the edge of everything that’s next.

If you’re searching for Indianapolis senior pictures, senior photographers for guys in Indiana, or senior portraits in Central Indiana, we’d love to help.
We’ll make the process easy for your son, simple for you, and create images you’ll both be proud of for years to come.
Because one day the uniform gets packed away, the truck gets replaced, and senior year becomes a memory.
These photographs help you hold onto it just a little longer.

Indianapolis Senior Pictures That Feel Like You One of the biggest questions we get from seniors and moms is this: “Where should we take senior pictures?” And honestly?
